2016 Australian Census - be counted as Polish!

 

Are you Polish? Do you have Polish ancestors?

By identifying your Polish heritage at the 2016 Australian Census, a greater awareness of the number of Poles in Australia may facilitate an increase in:

·        Polish / English translators,

·        assistance programs for elderly Polish Australians,

·        transmission hours for localised Polish Radio stations and Radio SBS,

·        mass media information about Poland as a member country of the EU,

·        transmission of Polish films on Australian television,

·        employment possibilities within the EU (Australia is an EU partner)

·        Australian government instructional publications appearing in Polish the language (as already occurs for many other European and Asian languages)

 

This year, stand up and be counted as Polish!
